About
A bit about me.
I'm Hamza Mohammed, a final-year Computer Science student at the University of Mosul, studying in the Networks department. I'm currently completing my CCNA alongside my degree, and I have a genuine interest in how networks are built, secured, and kept running.
On the side, I've spent the past two years building web applications and REST APIs — mostly in Laravel — which means I also understand how systems talk to each other, how servers are configured, and how to write scripts that automate the boring parts.
I'm based in Duhok, Iraq and actively looking for a full-time role where I can contribute to IT operations or networking infrastructure.

Studied network protocols across two years, including the TCP/IP stack, routing protocols, switching concepts, and network architecture. Worked with Cisco Packet Tracer to simulate and configure real-world topologies — routers, switches, VLANs, and inter-VLAN routing.

Completed coursework in Network Security I & II and Server Administration I & II. Topics include firewall rules, access control lists, intrusion prevention, VPNs, and Linux server configuration. Also applied web security and penetration testing concepts directly in own projects.
